Factors affecting the cutting effect of laser cutting machine
The factors that affect the cutting effect of the laser cutting machine are as follows:
The operator, the selection of the cutting nozzle, the adjustment of the distance between the cutting nozzle and the workpiece, the adjustment of the cutting speed, and the perpendicularity of the steel plate surface and the cutting nozzle.
(1) Operator
When operating a laser cutting machine to cut parts, the operator is usually required to cut the parts according to the material cutting process and have the self-inspection awareness to be able to distinguish whether the first part of the cut is qualified. And submit to the quality inspection, after the inspection is completed, the first qualified ticket is signed, and then the part can be mass produced.
(2) Selection of cutting nozzle
What type of cutting nozzle to use and the distance between the cutting nozzle and the workpiece should be based on the cutting thickness to choose the standard cutting nozzle model. The size of the cutting nozzle model is generally proportional to the thickness of the cutting. The larger the cutting nozzle model, the thicker the cutting thickness. The distance between the cutting nozzle and the steel plate will be affected: too far, it is easy to cause the heated area to be too large, which will deform the parts; too close, the cutting nozzle will block, resulting in wasted parts, reducing the cutting speed, and the production efficiency will be greatly reduced.
(3) Adjustment of the distance between the cutting nozzle and the workpiece
The thickness of the workpiece and the type of the cutting nozzle directly affect the adjustment of the cutting speed, which generally slows down with the increase of the cutting thickness; the speed of the cutting speed also affects the quality of the cutting port of the part; the correct cutting speed will be issued when the slag flows Regular buzzing sound, while slag outlet and cutting nozzle are on the same line; reasonable cutting speed will greatly improve cutting efficiency.
(4) The perpendicularity between the surface of the steel plate and the cutting nozzle
The correct cutting angle is: the cutting nozzle is perpendicular to the surface of the cutting steel plate at 90°. If it is not vertical, it will easily cause the cross section of the part to tilt, affecting the inconsistent upper and lower dimensions of the part, and the accuracy cannot be guaranteed. It is likely to cause quality accidents. Be sure to check its permeability. If the blockage will cause the airflow to tilt, the cutting nozzle and the surface of the steel plate will not be vertical, resulting in a cutting size error.
